UMI Performance 82-02 F-Body Single Adjustable Panhard- w/ Roto-Joint

This tubular single adjustable panhard bar replaces the stock stamped panhard bar, offering increased strength and enhanced rear end adjustment. It's vital for centering the rear end after lowering the vehicle and provides clearance for larger tires. The installed Roto-Joint allows for easy off-car adjustments to modify the length of the panhard bar. UMI 2036 measures 43" nominal center to center. The combination of the spherical Roto-Joint and polyurethane bushing eliminates rear end bind while preserving ride quality. This item is an excellent upgrade for both street and drag applications. UMI's Roto-Joint technology allows for 28 degrees of total rotation and unrestricted movement in the vehicle's suspension. The Roto-Joint operates like a spherical rod end but maintains the street-friendly qualities of a softer bushing. Its construction includes a 4140 chrome moly spherical ball rotating in a Delrin race, which improves traction and reduces wheel hop. The housing of the Roto-Joint features 4140 chrome moly threads and a CNC-machined bushing holder for maximum strength and durability. The Roto-Joint is adjustable and rebuildable, ensuring longevity and performance. A spanner wrench is used for adjusting and disassembling Roto-Joints in UMI Performance products. It tightens the adjusting ring to apply more pressure to the Delrin inside and is also used for disassembling the Roto-Joint for maintenance and rebuilding.
