UMI Performance’s rear upper control arms for the 71-75 GM H-Body are a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory control arms. These control arms are designed to minimize wheel hop, improve traction, and enhance track consistency. The solid construction eliminates flex found in the factory control arms, while the bushings reduce bushing deflection. UMI’s control arms are constructed from 1.250” drawn over mandrel mild steel tubing, CNC machined, and fully TIG welded for maximum strength. They also feature greaseable polyurethane bushings, grease fittings, and zinc plated steel sleeves. These control arms provide improved cornering and rear stability for both street cars and drag racers. Installation is straightforward, with an easy 1-hour bolt-on process requiring no drilling and utilizing OEM hardware.
UMI’s rear upper control arms for 71–75 GM H-Body improve traction, cornering, and stability. Made from 1.250" DOM steel with TIG welding and polyurethane bushings, they’re a strong, direct bolt-on upgrade for street and strip use.
Fitment Note: The 1975 Vega Cosworth and other H-Bodies in 1975 used a panhard bar/torque arm set-up. If your vehicle is a 1975 model, please verify if it requires rear upper control arms.
