Designed to slide under the lock nut and securely hold the fork spring in a compressed position. Keeping the shaft in this state frees up both hands, allowing the safe and accurate threading of the top cap onto the damper rod.

• Universal design allows for use with almost all Ohlins cartridge kits, and in tandem with 1765-series pull-up tools
• Securely locks the compressed spring out of the way, preventing pinched fingers and cross-threaded top caps
• Features multiple cutouts for use with 8, 10 and 12mm damper shafts
• Slotted shaft retainer acts as a secure spring compression stopper
