Improve the flow of the charged air through your MK7 with the Mishimoto Intercooler Pipe Kit! The GTI has a long pedigreed history in the realm of hot-hatchbacks, especially when it comes to models powered with 4-cylinder turbo engines. The stock piping in Volkswagen?s star player, however, doesn?t quite live up to the hype. Full of bends, restrictive diameters, and constructed from degradation-prone materials, the stock charge pipes can be a hold-up for your MK7, especially when cranking up the boost. Here at Mishimoto, we improved on the intercooler piping system so that you can make your hot-hatch even hotter. We started with replacing all of the plastic and rubber with a more robust construction of mandrel-bent aluminum, and 5-layer, heat resistant silicone couplers to ensure a sturdy and long-lasting connection to and from the intercooler. We also reduced the amount of bends on top of increasing the piping diameter to 2.75 inches, together equating to a 30-percent increase in air flow, making these the perfect combination with an aftermarket tune.The Mishimoto MK7 Intercooler Pipe Kit is available in a polished or wrinkle black finish to suit the style of your MK7.
