This intake manifold allows the use of square-bore carbs such as the Edelbrock Performer Series or Thunder Series AVS 500. This is a reproduction of the vintage Edelbrock #452 two-piece manifold with a new carb adapter flange. Edelbrock 4-Barrel Intake Manifold for 1949 to 1953 Ford/Mercury Flathead V8 will allow the use of commonly available Square-Bore (4150-Style) Carbs such as our Performer or AVS Series on the Late Ford Flathead Engine.
